Description
Members of The National Theater of the Deaf perform two theater pieces conceived by the company: a music-dance version of the round Three Blind Mice (here titled Curtain Raiser) directed for the stage by Joe Layton; and a montage of dreams and memories, Promenade, directed by J. Ranelli. David Hays, Artistic Director of the Company, explains the group's method and aesthetic. Hand and body gestures and finger-spelling are accompanied by voice-over commentary.
