This two-part series focuses on Brooklyn based choreographer/director Martha Bowers and her site-specific performance work. In a revealing interview Bowers traces the origins & development of her work and her interest in integrating choreography with social activism as she created panoramic site specific works that featured high levels of community participation. Included are excerpts from On The Waterfront (1993), Blue Train (1998), Safe Harbor (1998), and Safe Harbor - Cork, Ireland (2001).
