Description
Every year, close to one million people from over 100 countries all over the world choose to become American citizens. These new Americans are not just coming to the big cities anymore, they are settling in communities all across America. Filmmaker Andrea Pelosi went to naturalization ceremonies in all 50 states to explore why so many people still want to become Americans. The documentary intersperses stories of newly naturalized citizens with interviews from notable first-generation Americans, including Madeleine Albright, Arianna Huffington, Henry Kissinger and Gene Simmons.
