Paying the Price. Part 3
Description
This program documents how victims of the financial crash are fighting back. Owing to the loss of an estimated 30 million jobs, demonstrators hit the street in many cities, sometimes in violent protests, but these were easily weathered by governments and corporations. In some countries, the struggle went much further. In France, furious union members kidnap their bosses. In Iceland, protesters force a government to fall. And even in Canada, ripped off autoworkers occupy their plant.
