Soong Tse-ven, The Power Game-Chiang Kai-shek and His Families (in Mandarin)
Description
In 1971, Soong Tse-ven’s family sent all of his files to the Hoover Institution at Stanford University. However, to avoid exposing to the media the secrets of the living Soong family members, the Institution made the files public only in 2004, a few years after Soong May-ling’s death. This program recalls the life of Soong Tse-ven (T. V. Soong), who, although he found it hard to fit in with the Chinese bureaucracy, became a vital member of the Kuomintang. He was also a brother-in-law to Dr. Sun Yat-sen, Generalissimo Chiang Kai-shek, and financier H. H. Kung. A part of the series The Power Game: Chiang Kai-shek and His Families (in Mandarin).
