The Heart of Wales
Description
Join Iolo Williams on a fascinating tour of the spectacular scenery and wildlife of Wales. In this second of three episodes, filmed with stunning aerial and wildlife photography, Williams travels through the heart of the country. Starting on the dramatic heather moorlands, he witnesses the extraordinary courtship displays of hen harriers and black grouse. Williams then visits the uplands in deepest winter to find one of the world's most elusive mammals, the stoat, and he explores the effects of climate change on the landscape. After heading west to Cardigan Bay to see some colorful lizards, he ends in Aberystwyth with 20,000 starlings. Magical and eye-opening.
