Nirvana. The Untold Stories

Description

Formed in 1990 by singer/guitarist Kurt Cobain, bassist Krist Novoselic, and drummer Dave Grohl, Nirvana established itself as part of the Seattle grunge scene. After signing to major label DGC Records, Nirvana found unexpected success with "Smells like Teen Spirit", the first single from the band's second album "Nevermind". The band's sudden success widely popularized alternative rock as a whole, and the band's frontman Cobain found himself referred to in the media as the "spokesman of a generation", with Nirvana being considered the "flagship band" of Generation X. In 'Nirvana: The Untold Stories' we take you behind the music to discover what it took for this unlikely trio to define a musical genre. Packed with interviews this documentary takes you where the cameras never previously pried to achieve an uncensored look at a legendary band.
