Tokyo City Guide. Pilot Guides
Description
This Pilot Guides episode catches Ian Wright's experience in the heart of Tokyo, the world's most extraordinary capital. Ian encounters the spiritual aspects of the peace-loving Buddhist Senso-Ji temple and the sword fighting and Bushido philosophy of the Samurai warriors. He explores Odaiba's technology centers, the Tokyo fashion scene, and the 11,000 foot Mount Fuji. Ian makes time to join two harvest festivals, during which he tries the traditional trick of balancing a thirty-foot bamboo pole and twenty giant paper lanterns on various parts of his body, check out an earthquake training center, and taste many local dishes along the way.
