Living with Migraines. Managing Migraine and Cluster Headaches
Description
Migraines can be a painful and debilitating condition that has daily complications. They can keep sufferers up at night, making them feel tired and lethargic the next day. A more intense condition called "cluster headaches" - sometimes known as suicide headaches because of the withering nature of the pain - are far less common but much more debilitating. This program explores the many types of treatments for these headaches. One class of newer treatments, drugs commonly known as sumatriptans, has been effective in relieving the symptoms. But migraine patients often have to search to find the most helpful treatment for their particular type of headache. The good news is that today patients have newer options and better patient care.
