Cuba. Don't Forget Your Passport
Description
Cuba is one of the most contentious yet colorful Caribbean islands in the entire Southern Hemisphere. Host Ross Shimmon wanders the back streets of old Havana, scopes out a local rum museum, learns how to properly roll cigars, and dances the night away at a smoke-filled flamenco bar. Ross sees Fidel Castro at a large street demonstration, explores an underground limestone cave and an 18th-century coffee plantation in the region of Pinar del Rio. Next, he's off to the overcrowded beaches of Varadero. He winds up his trip in the Spanish colonial town of Trinidad and cools down in a lush jungle waterfall.
