Training of Paraeducators
Description
Although paraeducators play an important part in the successful operation of a school, many are not provided with suitable guidance or clarification of their job functions. In this program Dr. Nancy French, author of Managing Paraeducators in Your School, presents a comprehensive training program to help paraeducators understand their roles and responsibilities. Topics covered include understanding supervision, roles and responsibilities, scheduling and training, working in general education, one-on-one paraeductors, addressing challenging behaviors, working with different types of classroom instruction, and carrying out adaptation plans.
