Description
The 16th-century Corral de Comedias is Spain's oldest theater and a prime venue for the great classics of Spanish drama. Spotlighting two young actors who share the dream of performing at the Corral, this program shows them in their present capacity-namely, helping with theater festival publicity-thereby presenting several helpful Spanish language lessons. Viewers encounter examples of how Spanish speakers buy tickets, book hotel accommodations, ask about hotel services, and more. Meanwhile, as tensions rise over the hectic rehearsals and other preparations, the acting students share their hopes and ambitions and how these mesh with the possibilities of the future.
