Description
The forced transport of 75,000 American and Filipino prisoners of war by the conquering Japanese in 1942, known as the Bataan Death March, is the subject of this A&E Special. The brutal 60-mile march to internment camps after the Battle of the Philippines was marked by wide-ranging abuse and high fatalities, and was later accounted as a Japanese war crime.
