Investigative Reports. Return to the Killing Fields

Description

Investigative Reports examines the rise of the Khmer Rouge, Pol Pot, and his master plan for a new Cambodia, revealed as one of the cruelest social experiments in history. Between 1975 and 1979, Pol Pot and his army tortured and killed one to two million people. This program strips away the "black hole" of silence that entrapped Cambodians and all who wanted to know what was happening in those horrific years. Now, years later, the country is still waiting for justice to be served. Pol Pot is dead, but other Khmer Rouge members live openly in Cambodia. Should they be punished or forgiven?
