Dr. Tim Finnigan uses bio-mimicry to create flexible sea-floor structures that transform ocean currents into power. Likewise, Dr. Robert Dane's Solar Sailor boat incorporates insect wing forms. Designs from Dr. Prame Chopra and Dr. Doone Wyborn hint at the shape of geothermal systems to come, while the Sydney-based activities of SunTech and its Chinese owner, Dr. Zhengrong Shi, evoke the global nature of the sustainable energy movement. Several other case studies are included.
