Description
To learn the basics of good hygiene, it helps to have a step-by-step procedure-one that becomes second nature. This video presents personal cleaning and maintenance methods that are summed up by an easy-to-remember acronym: C.A.T.C.H. The term stands for the following concepts: Clean hands, Acne prevention and treatment, Teeth brushing and cleaning, Clean body, and Hair washing. In reassuring and entertaining discussions and demonstrations, a life-skills expert and two teens explore the fundamentals of hygiene while addressing each C.A.T.C.H. step. Exercise, nutrition, and adequate sleep are also covered. Correlates to all applicable National and State Educational Standards including the NCLB Act.
