Description
During a May 1933 propaganda campaign, Nazi minister Joseph Goebbels staged book burnings in the streets of Berlin. At the rallies, members of the Nazi party threw books written by Jews, Communists, and other left-wing authors onto bonfires, after which Nazi officials gave speeches condemning seditious literature.
