Pro-Life Activists Protest Abortion ca. 1985
Description
After the Roe v. Wade decision legalized abortion in 1973, abortion was one of the most controversial subjects in the United States. A decade later, members of the pro-life movement, as anti-abortion activists liked to be called, continued to stage regular protests. Some radical pro-life groups resorted to violence, blocking access to, vandalizing, or sometimes outright destroying abortion clinics.
