Description
There are certain basic principles of dramatic writing that work, says Will Dunne. "I think it's important for writers to know what those basic principles are, that's where we get into the craft of writing. In this program, Dunne, Nick Enright, David Williamson, Katherine Thomson, and other theater professionals suggest approaches to doing research, creating dynamic characters, and composing believable dialogue. The process of writing that all-important first draft is also discussed, as well as the playwright's relationship to the audience.
