Molecular geometry and bonding theories
Description
Why is the acronym VSEPR pronounced "vesper"? The answer to that question is the only thing not revealed in part one of this program, which takes a look at the VSEPR theory, non-bonding electron pairs, polarity, and dipoles. In part two, a "cow-chicken" and other experts elucidate the theories of hybrid orbital and molecular orbital overlap and illustrate how to determine bond order.
