Self -Knowledge
Description
According to Jung, self-knowledge is also knowledge of God; Answer to Job, which sets out his ideas on the relationship between the two, is the starting point for discussions with Jungian psychoanalyst and writer June Singer, religious historian Elaine Pagels, and Gnostic Bishop Rosamonde Miller. Among the subjects discussed are good and evil, the double nature of God and human beings, the cause and point of suffering, the individual's need to discover his or her own middle point, and the meaning of deliverance and Jesus (whom Jung explicitly linked to Job).
