Description
Dr. White is recognized as one of the key leaders of African American psychology. Simultaneously a scholar and an activist, he once occupied the offices of APA, was a leader in founding the Black Psychological Association, and worked with Malcolm X. He was one of the first African Americans to receive a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology in this country. His life story, scholarship, and social justice approach inspires us all.
