Nunavut elders. Outpost camp
Description
Since the 1970s, Lypa Pitsiolak and his wife Annie have lived in an outpost camp 130 kilometers from the community of Pangnirtung. Lypa and Annie raised four children at the camp and only travel to town a few times each year. Their daughter Malia is nineteen and grew up on the land. Malia was home schooled by her parents and is learning to be a hunter from her father.
