Misek. The spark
Description
MISEK explores traditional wisdom surrounding the spirit of Misek, 'the spark' or God of Fire, in a Limbu community in eastern Nepal. It weaves together a conversation with an old shaman, traditional Mundhum singing, a rare ritual, and mis en scene. It was filmed during a workshop by Cineminga with the Limbu Film Association.
