This 16 minute documentary was produced on the occasion of the PUBLIC SPACES exhibition of the the work of architect Colin laird which was held at the National Museum of Trinidad & Tobago from June 2012 to January 2013 to coincide with celebrations of Trinidad and Tobago’s 50th anniversary of Independence. As part of the country’s social, economic, cultural and physical evolution, architect Colin Laird, through his prolific production and dedication to civic projects was at the vanguard of the movement that worked to express in architecture, the spirit of the emerging Trinidad and Tobago - literally building the nation.
