Kristi works with a veteran who served time in the Persian Gulf as a special operations sniper. The client suffers from PTSD, depression, suicide ideation, as well as traumatic brain injury. Kristi Kanel is a Professor of Counseling Psychology at California State University Fullerton. She is the author of the best-selling book Crisis Interventions, 5th edition (Cengage) and is also a clinician in private practice specializing in trauma.
