Waiting for justice
Description
It was perhaps the greatest industrial disaster in the world. At least 2,000 people killed immediately, thousands more sent to premature death. In 1984 a deadly toxic cloud escaped from a chemical plant operated by the company Union Carbide (now: Dow) in Bhopal. The victims are still waiting for adequate compensation from the US company that owned the factory.
