Algerian cinema. A new breath
Description
Young filmmakers are involved in the rebirth of Algerian cinema decimated by 1988 civil war. This 'Spontaneous Generation' denounces the deteriorations in Algeria on the verge of implosion. In France, their elders such as Lyes Salem, Malek Bensmail or Nadir Mokhnèche question their dual French Algerian identity & build a collective memory.
