Matrix algebra tutor. Row equivalent matrices
Description
This program covers the very important topic of row equivalent matrices in the context of matrix algebra. This central topic deals with teaching students the rules that can be used to simplify the form of a matrix. This is similar to fractions where we use rules to simplify fractions and arrive at a simpler, but equivalent answer. In matrix math, we use row equivalent methods to transform the matrix to a simpler form that is equivalent to the original matrix. We work numerous problems to give students practice in this area.
