Can one measure intelligence? Based on this question, the film explores current scientific research on the most abstract of the body's activities. Intelligence is related to the brain. From the very first attempts to localize brain functions to the multitude of assessment tests employed today using ultra-sophisticated technology, the brain, its structure and its activity lie at the center of investigations on intelligence. It would appear nowadays that the IQ test is considered by public opinion as the best instrument to measure intelligence-- Is it truly the best tool in order to assess human intellectual abilities?
