Exploring the world. Toronto

Description

Toronto, the financial and transportation hub of the country, is also the largest and most culturally diverse city in Canada and has everything a vibrant, cosmopolitan city can offer. There is the harbor area for boating and sightseeing, and Ontario Place is a family-oriented park. You can browse the fresh produce and flowers at the St. Lawrence Market or visit historic Fort York, a battleground between Americans and British colonial troops, which is now an open-air museum. Canada's longest running fair is held in Toronto at the Canadian National Exhibition. Sports are key to Toronto, which is the location for the world famous Sky Dome, home to the Toronto Blue Jays. We also visit the Hockey Hall of Fame, a museum that traces the history of the game, houses the largest collection of hockey artifacts, and honors its players. After a day of viewing all the attractions, you're sure to enjoy the city's nightlife as well, and a visit to the Princess of Wales' Theater is a must.
