S&T. Controlled impact rescue tool
Description
Move over, drills, saws, and jackhammers. Now there's something quicker and easier for search-and-rescue missions: the Controlled Impact Rescue Tool (CIRT). Although its still in development, a prototype is showing that it can bust through thick concrete walls or barriers in about half the time of traditional methods.
