Global warming
Description
In the past few years, the world has experienced many devastating natural disasters. There is much speculation that these phenomena are due to global climate changes and Global Warming. In Western Greenland, scientists say that they have found evidence that the island's massive glaciers are melting. In the USA, the Rocky Mountain labs offer a rare long-term view of the environment and the mountain's local ecosystem. The recession of the world's glaciers is considered a strong indicator of climate change and glaciologists in France have been watching in alarm as their glaciers recede. In South Africa, the resilience of loggerhead turtles raises questions about the impact of climate and sea level change on biodiversity. Also, Australia's remaining natural forests and their carbon consuming trees; and Scotland establish itself as a world leader in carbon cutting measures.
