Training issues and solutions for older adults
Description
Training Issues and Solutions for Older Adults explores and explains the realities of aging and the functional issues that many older adults (50+) face. The DVD details why it is necessary for trainers to be able to modify the exercise prescriptions that they develop for older adults. The DVD also reviews the need for trainers to assess the health and fitness status of their older clients, as well as adjust their training goals, as appropriate, using MicroProgression™. In addition, the DVD looks at joint wear, range of motion, muscular imbalance/inhibition, bone loss, inflammation, and deconditioning, as each relates to training older adults.
