Description
This interactive course is in movie format. This "hot" course is designed to provide education and management of the therapist working with burns with emphasis on burns affecting the hand and upper extremity. Education is provided on the varying degrees of burn injury; wound care and dressing techniques; management and rehabilitation of contractures as well as the unique role of the therapist as part of the burn team. Instruction methods include: PowerPoint, lecture, splinting demonstration, wound dressing video and lecture. This course is an intermediate level for learning.
