Don't cry for Salim the lame
Description
Salim, a young man with a limp and little education finds himself scrapping together a living by working for the local street gangs, despite his father's objections. His sister, Anees, is of marriageable age and Salim is determined to find her a groom who can give her all the creature comforts that she needs. Anees, however, is only interested in Aslam, a well-educated editor, who is nevertheless earning meager wages. Aslam proves to be a positive influence on Salim, who then thinks twice when he is asked to incite religious riots for a hefty sum of money. Will Salim be able to escape a crime-ridden past to lead a life of dignity?
