Everyman. Dying alone

Description

In a busy city such as London, each year hundreds of elderly people are found to have died alone in their houses, and no trace of a relative can be found. In this compelling and moving film, two council workers show how their jobs involve them in piecing together the lives, religious beliefs, last wishes and final affairs of a range of people who have died alone. As detectives tracing the lives of the unfortunate dead, these two women face grim discoveries, difficult meetings and employ painstaking methods as they lay the lives of the solitary to rest.
