Description
Nutrition for Optimal Performance discusses the body's need for macronutrients and micronutrients and reviews what foods to choose to maximize performance. The DVD details the most appropriate sources of training ""fuel"" for each of the three nutrients that provide energy--carbohydrates, protein, and fat. The DVD also addresses how physically active people can maximize their glycogen stores.
