Description
Black rhino disappeared in South Africa Cape Province over a hundred years ago- shot out by big game hunters. They returned to the Eastern Cape in the early 1960s, imported from Kenya. Now the park authorities are reintroducing the original species, and moving out the East African imports. Wildlife vet Pete Markel heads up the National Park's Game Capture unit which is doing this.
