Vets on the wild side. Episode 12

Description

Night time on Lake Kariba, and wild life vets are out to capture crocodiles. In the inky darkness, they move quietly across the water, dazzling the crocs with powerful torches and then grabbing them. All this so the crocs can be tested for viral diseases. CROW -the Centre for the Rehabilitation of Wild Life in Natal- takes in a whole variety of animals, most from road traffic accidents. When the damage has been repaired, They are returned to the wild. These are mainly small mammals, like porcupines, and just as much attention is paid to them as to the bigger and more exotic creatures.
