Description
Coming up in this edition of Vets On The Wild Side -slicing a growth off a rhino- and baby buffalo, keeping them healthy. Here in Umfolozi, there is a whole collection of rhino that have been captured, and are being looked after before the big game auction. The wardens have noticed that one young male has a growth on his sheath. The growth isn't life threatening, but it could become a nuisance later on. Long early morning shadows at the Buffalo Boma. Here in the Kruger National Park, surplus buffalo are caught and sold on to other parks and game farms.
