Description
What happens when people intervene in natural environments that depend on fresh water? How do species survive in the Nabib Desert in South Africa and at Glen Canyon in the United States where a large dam obstructs the Colorado River? Examines the canalization of the Rhine, the shrinking of the fresh water wetlands in Holland, and natural damage caused by oil production in the Ecuadorian rainforest.
