Description
Nguyen Luan was working as a surgeon at the Bach Mai Hospital on December 22, 1972 when the Americans began to bomb Hanoi. He recalls doctors and patients hiding in the bomb shelters and having to use his surgical tools to break through walls to help rescue people who were trapped.
