Assessment and behaviour. Steering the right course (Secondary). 2
Description
This programme is presented by Sue Cowley, author of 'Getting The Buggers to Behave'. Sue will explore how one go-ahead secondary school is responding to the challenge of handling learning behaviour issues with the appointment of key staff, parent/student teaching initiatives, and vocational curriculum options such as bricklaying. There are contributions from Sir Alan Steer and a lively debate with a panel of experts covering all the strategies and approaches handled in both programmes. The discussion reviews the main message of The Steer Report - that behaviour can be learned and adapted by applying a consistent and positive approach within the classroom.
