Getting started with the severely involved baby
Description
Advocates direct physical handling of babies who exhibit abnormal responses from birth or shortly thereafter. Meaningful intervention must address some of the fundamental physiological dysfunctions in order to develop a base for posture control and movement initiation. Three babies are seen for an evaluative treatment session after some time without direct therapy.
