The indoor and outdoor learning environment
Description
In a classroom environment that supports active learning, children engage with a variety of materials and make choices about how to use them. Teachers designate different interest areas and use labeling and storage systems that allow children to easily find, use, and return materials. As you watch this program, you will learn how to arrange interest areas and choose and store equipment and materials to promote children's learning through both energetic and quiet activities in your program's indoor and outdoor spaces.
