Description
Made at the time of the renegotiation of the Antarctic Treaty, this investigative documentary examines what is really going on in Antarctica. Unlike previous programmes, most of which have been about the Antarctic environment and its wild life, this film focuses on the scientific research being carried out by specific nations. The film goes behind the scenes to examine the political motives and aims behind carving up the world's most remote and least visited continent.
