The Stavanger's last voyage
Description
The Stavanger's Last Voyage is the story of a trip along one of the most scenic coastlines in the world. It is also the story of a voyage in a boat more than one hundred years old with no engine, running water, electricity or modern conveniences, and with only a compass to steer by. For a hot drink the stove had to be lit, and when the wind dropped the crew had to take to the oars. The Stavanger's seagoing days may be over, but her historical worth will increase with every passing year.
