How do they do it in Germany?
Description
In Germany, there is a problem of lack of interest in the youth of today in science and technology, says Frank Becker of Siemens. German engineering companies have grouped together to provide Discovery Boxes to kindergartens to forestall the future crisis in trained engineers. The boxes, containing resources for teaching materials on water, colour, air, sound and electricity, inspire the nation's children with awe and wonder about science, technology and engineering.
