Mike Baker looks at the implications of the government's comprehensive spending review and provides the key points for all those involved in school finance. Changes to the way schools are funded, including the Pupil Premium, are discussed with Christine Blower, General Secretary of the NUT and with Russell Hobby, General Secretary of the National Association of Head Teachers. Mike visits Hackney Free and Parochial Secondary School to examine the potential impact of the Pupil Premium on schools in disadvantaged areas.
